Grace Treutel, MFT-Intern* specializes in children, teens, adults and couples therapy

Grace is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern under the Supervision of Sara Hadgraft, AAMFT Supervisor Candidate

I'm Grace Treutel, a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, deeply committed to helping couples and families navigate and strengthen their relationships. Drawing from my personal experiences with divorce and co-parenting, I specialize in couples and marriage therapy, blended family counseling, and tackling issues related to intimacy, LGBTQ concerns, and alleviating relationship stress. Under the supervision of Sara Hadgraft, my approach is practical and focused on attachment styles and personal growth.

My academic journey began with a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Alabama. A decade-long career in marketing and copywriting followed, leading me to a role as Director of Culture, where I honed my skills in interpersonal communication. This experience inspired me to pursue graduate studies in Marriage and Family at Syracuse University, with my Master's expected by December 2024.

Currently, I'm fulfilling my clinical internship at Sparrow Counseling and other organizations.  During my internship, I need to receive a certain amount of counseling hours to fulfill the requirements of my Graduate program.  Outside the office, my passions include aerial yoga, crafting poetry, and cherishing moments with my two children and our family pets—a cat, dog, and snake.
