As a counselor, I welcome any opportunity to facilitate both recovery from trauma and rediscovery of hope for my clients. Whether working with individuals, couples or families, I use a collaborative, creative approach to accomplish shared therapeutic goals. I am committed to supporting people of all ages in difficult seasons of transition and loss, and I am particularly passionate about guiding families through the pain and disappointment of divorce. I am a Certified Parenting Coordinator with experience in supervised visitations, co-parenting techniques, and conflict resolution. I have over 60 hours of mediation training. I also have training in play therapy, grief support and survivor advocacy that helps me to be an insightful resource and devoted advocate for my clients in the pursuit of hope and healing. I am a certified Prepare/Enrich (pre/marital) counselor, which is a solid research based skill-building program that gives couples a relationship inventory and helps them see their strengths and growth areas. In addition to individual and family counseling, I also teach in retreat and seminar settings on topics including, but not limited to, shame, recovery and faith.
